Istria offers a real pleasure to the lovers of driving on two wheels, making possible to be assimilated with its unique landscape. Beautiful untouched nature, vineyards and olive groves, idyllic villages and small towns on the tops of the hills will fascinate you with wealth of adventures and various odors and colors. |
Istria, with about 60 inscribed bike roads spread on 1500 kilometers, is a real paradise for lovers of riding on two wheels. Many of the roads are mountain roads, i.e. white, field and forest roads that demand good shape and skill in “own drive” riding. There are 430 kilometers of bike roads spread from the western to the eastern side of Istria. They are divided in 10 laps from Rovinj to Rabac. Although simple at the beginning, the roads are more and more demanded as we go to the eastern coast, which means that you need good shape.
The central part of Istria has 230 kilometers of marked roads divided in seven laps. Lovers of riding on the bikes have an opportunity to see numerous old medieval small towns with recognizable belfries and with some taverns for refreshment. |

Northern Istria has nine circle tracks in total length of 400 kilometers. Although these tracks are very demanded, they are very impressed from the bird's-eye view. They include circle laps passing through some of the most picturesque towns of Istria: Hum, Motovun, Groznjan, Kotle.
Around Porec there are two roads about 45 kilometers long each, which are rather mild and they enable complete enjoinment in surroundings. You can create your roads, i.e. tracks by your own according to your own wishes and capabilities. |
| Southern Istria has the easiest but not less beautiful roads. About 300 kilometers of its roads are divided into eight laps. The coast is cherished by mild maritime climate, dense vegetation and interesting flora and fauna. We warmly advise riding in the protected area of the Kamenjak cape. |
